According to ESAC, there are 329 videogame companies in Canada who support a total of 16,500 full-time employees, which is up 5% from 2011. Contributing $2.3 billion to Canada's GDP, our country boasts the third-biggest videogame industry in the world. And it should stay that way: 40% of videogame companies in Canada predict 25% or higher growth over the next two years, according to ESAC's report.
